The craft of candle making was originated from ideas and methods
established by the colonial candle guilds. The technique of
cutting and curling sculpted candles is a new art form. Your
candle is unique in color and design because each one is crafted
individually by hand and from the heart.We start with a hand
poured core that is dipped up to 40 times in hot dyed wax. For
the next 5-6 minutes the heated candle is soft and pliable and
an artist can carve, curl and braid the wax with knives and
sculpturing tools. When the design is complete the candle is
dipped in a special glaze wax to harden the outside and resist
the damaging effects of dust, heat and chipping.When you light
your candle even for the very first time, wherever the artist
has carved, a soft warm light will glow thoughout your candle.
